Customer service succes or The Why!

The Human Element

Without a humans touc,  there is no business!

Corporate Power vs Customer Satisfaction

Does your business have the “human” touch?

The capricious and arbitrary application of “power” in business.

The axiom, “Power corrupts;  Absolute power corrupts absolutely” is unfortunately a truism in at every level.  It spans the employee list from the employee that turns on and turns off the power, the water, and the necessities of daily life in a home or business to the executive officers of a company, its human nature unless there is the inclination to use that power in client satisfaction.  Often companies, given the power of being the sole supplier lose sight of the human element in dealing with their customer base on the human level.  Example: Big Banks

Those companies that do understand the human element of their customer base are, companies that, “Get it”.  Corporate thinking, simply eliminates the human element of a business, whether it’s a service company, manufacturer or retail outlet.  The solution is simple: Attitude and effective communication, rather than arbitrary and capricious decisions based on the perception of personal power. Communication administered through effective communications go a long way to solving issues, whether internal employee or customer related.  Absolute success in any business relationship is really is all about effective communication.

Case in point

Nuts.com: (a nut business), Bark (a pet supply) get it!  The  customer care is evident the minute the package arrives at your door.  The shipping box is printed on the outside with clever notes, that let you know immediately they cherish your business.  Open the ox and the message continues to emphasize how much they care about their company, their ideas and you as a customer.  Its all about how you as a business communicate effectively with your client.
